Vintage Mahalakshmi Mukhakriti
This vintage brass Mukhakriti (mask) with a peaked crown represents Goddess Mahalakshmi - the supreme mother Goddess and the sustaining force of the universe. She has a very calming and serene face and wears elaborate jewelry around her neck and ears. If you look close you will notice the details in her earrings which end with a parrot figure. Her hairdo is beautiful and has a crown at the top. The piece has gathered an enchanting patina due to age and use and will make a very fine collectible.
The piece is mounted on a removable wooden base to enable display.
